What is Lemon-aide Brigade?
Lemon-aide Brigade is a collective movement where individuals, organizations, businesses, and churches come together to raise money for Ady’s BiG Army. Teams are invited to host lemonade-themed fundraisers, whether it’s a classic stand, a creative event, or your own unique twist. However you choose to pour it out, it’s all about spreading joy, sharing hope, and making a real impact!
How do I register my team?
Click the button below to register your team online. Only the team leader or captain needs to register, not each team member. Just provide your contact information and give your team a name and you're all set!
When can I register my team?
Register your team from September 1-16 by visiting our website below! Select your local Chick-fil-A from the Birmingham area as your pickup location. Once you receive your custom QR code via email, you can begin promoting your lemonade stand and raising funds!
Where can I get my lemonade?
When you register your team, you will select your local Chick-fil-A in the Birmingham area. This is where you will pick up your FREE gallon of lemonade and large cookie tray to help you get started. Once you are out of lemonade and cookies, feel free to purchase more at your local Chick-fil-A or get creative and make your own! The more money you raise, the higher your chances are to win! Please note: You can only pick-up your lemonade and cookies on September 19, 2025.Â
When can I start fundraising for this cause?
You can begin raising funds any time after registration but you won’t be able to pick up your Chick-fil-A lemonade and cookie tray until September 19, 2025. Use this time to get creative in how you market your stand and fundraise for the cause!
Who can get involved in Lemon-aide Brigade?
Lemon-aide Brigade is open to anyone and everyone! Local neighborhoods, sports teams, businesses, churches, and more are invited to participate in this fundraiser. It’s a great opportunity to teach about community service and engagement as well as provide volunteer hours for those who may need them for their company or school organization.
What does my team receive if we win?
The winning team (the team that raises the most money for the cause) receives a Chick-fil-A catered party and media coverage for your organization or business courtesy of WVTM-13.
Where can I host my lemonade-themed fundraiser?
You can host your fundraiser anywhere you choose—your place of business, school, local park, storefront, home, or even your gym. Get creative and have fun hosting!
Is there a max number of members I can have on my team?
Nope! You can have as many people on your team as you'd like! Whether it be 2 or twenty, Lemon-aide Brigade has a place for everyone! Reminder: Only the team captain has to register, not each team member.
What if I need more cookies and lemonade?
You will only receive one gallon of lemonade and one large cookie tray for free from your selected Chick-fil-A but you are encouraged to purchase more to increase your chances of winning! If you would like to purchase more lemonade or cookies than what is provided, please proceed to place a catering order by visiting https://order.chick-fil-a.com/get-started/catering
Our Staff and Volunteers
Ady’s BiG Army was founded by Brian and Chrissy Schubert. Chrissy currently serves as Executive Director. As a mother of a special needs child, she brings a wealth of personal experience to the program as well as a fierce determination to improve the lives of adults with disabilities and their families and caregivers.
The program is staffed with experienced, caring individuals who have devoted their lives to helping individuals with special needs. These include retired special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists, nurses and more. Our maximum staff-to-Citizen ratio is one to six.
We also have many enthusiastic volunteers who provide essential support services for our program. All our staff and volunteers are carefully screened to ensure the absolute security and safety of our Citizens.
